So I just found this band named Panda Kopanda. They play indie-pop, but they seem to do it differently than everyone else. Their vocalist has quite the voice, as it skips and swoons over the instruments. Those instruments aren’t too shabby, either- fitting together like a jigsaw puzzle, they’re mightily impressive. They aren’t afraid to get loud, but they like being quiet, too. Sometimes they even do both in the same song (“Open Ground”). They’re from the UK- Northern Ireland, to be exact. Their sound is crisp, bright, and clear- all things that you want to hear said about an indie-pop band. These guys love what they’re doing, and it shows in their songs. Listen.
