This week, I have been listening mainly to Matt & Kim. If you haven’t listened to them, I highly recommend it. Matt has a very different vocal style than most other singers out there today, which is one of the aspects that I like about this band, though it may not appeal to some people. They have a very upbeat, “poppy” feel to their music, which is good for driving or a day when you need to be cheered up. They have been around for about five years now, I began listening to them last year. Their most popular song is “Daylight,” but my own personal favorite is “Yea Yeah,” with it’s light keyboard part and good drum beat along with simple vocals, it always makes my day. “Yea Yeah” also has one of my favorite music videos as well, which you can see below.
