Five-piece indie band The Hives has finally decided on names for their new album and latest single. The Hives are “more than pleased” to announce the name of their album as The Black And White Album. We are still awaiting the track list for The Black And White Album, but we do know the release date will be October 9th 2007 (The 8th in the UK).

In addition to their new album, The Hives are calling their new single Tick Tick Boom, released today as a downloadable single and set to be released as a CD on October 1st.

I myself will be downloading this single the first chance I get, and I’m eagerly awaiting the track list for The Black And White Album, of course!
