So I Learned the Importance of Save Key…

Radio Indie Pop has two more days of featuring the StrokesFirst Impressions of Earth. Come February 1st, they’ll switch on over to Belle and Sebastian’s new long-player The Life Pursuit. No reason not to listen.

Last Tuesday has a problem- here it is, straight from their mouth.

I’ve really been getting into Brave Saint Saturn’s The Light of Things Hoped For in the past couple days. I’m a really big fan of anything Reese Roper puts out, because I love his songwriting style, lyrics, and vocals, but this album feels a lot more personal than any I’ve heard from him, whether it be BSS, Five Iron Frenzy, or Roper. It’s got some really strong rock songwriting on it, as well as some excellent pop songwriting, and some punk songs. mmhmm, that sums it up well.

Band: Lo-Fi Audio. If you watch cop/lawyer/justice shows, you know what I’m talking about when I reference that vaguely electronic, really cool music in the background of all the interesting wordless scenes. Wonder where that comes from? Well, it comes from bands like Lo-Fi Audio. Lo-fi is a band of three guys who got together to make soundtrack music, essentially. Their sound is incredibly tight and very cinematic…the only problem is that they sometimes forget to end songs. They sort’ve trail off and that’s it. But other than that, these guys put out some really, really intriguing music. Listen at their site or at their purevolume.
