Well, that’s not necessarily true. The Strokes, who are still working their “secret” tour, have seen an early release of their upcoming album “First Impressions Of Earth” break it’s way onto an abundance of file sharing networks. Although the release date is supposedly January 2nd, it’s looking distinctly possible that Rough Trade may bring this date forward to limit the damage of the leakage. You might be thinking this plan sounds familiar… that’s because the band deployed the same strategy when “Juicebox” suffered the same fate earlier this year. Does anyone else smell a mole?

In other news, has anyone checked out the, not-so-new, but definitely improved Pure Volume? It’s looking pretty fly, especially the new features.
