Not a good day.

So yes, today has been rather lacklustre (as the brits would spell it). It should’ve been awesome, but things went downhill and now I’m listening to Matt Shaw. Matt Shaw sounds sort’ve like a grown-up Postal Service - It’s electronic in basis, but there’s live instrumentation above it. It’s downtrodden indie-pop, for sure- Matt’s lyrics always deal with being stuck in transition or being down and out or being lost or any other instance of disillusionment. It’s music for disillusioned people. And that’s what I am today. So put this one in your rainy day file- you’ll need it.

Cause there’s nothing better than having someone sing what I’m feeling for me, more articulately than I could- makes me feel like I’m not alone in the dumps.
