I’m having a little bit of a better day than yesterday. I’ve been playing one of my favorite mellow playlists all day, so that’s been a help. It’s actually a compilation CD of sorts- I’m such a sucker for a mellow song that when I find good mellow tracks, I put them together in a playlist and burn myself a CD of them. In fact, on this latest compilation (my 6th), I even included art and lyrics. All because I felt like it. I’m going to put the playlist down here, because the songs are all really amazing and the bands deserve all the credit they can get. If you’re interested in receiving a copy, e-mail me at independentclauses@hotmail.com, and I’ll burn one for you and send it to you, free of charge. I’m sure that most of these bands wouldn’t care.

2. Pretend You Don’t Know – Time and Distance
3. Junkyard – Page France
4. Thelma Lou – Death Ships
5. The Flaws – David Shultz

They’re all amazing. But if you’re pressed for time, I’d recommend looking up David Shultz, Jettie, and Josh Caress. They’ll blow your mind.
I may post some real news on Monday…depends. Have a good day.
