Indie Artists Try To Cure Breast Cancer

It may not seem as great as the title may suggest, but many indie artists are joining forces to raise some money for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation breast cancer. And of course there’s a catch… You’re going to have make a trip to Urban Outfitters (or go to their website) to pick up the compilation album whose proceeds will go to the Komen Foundation.

Thom Yorke, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Rapture, Feist, Franz Ferdinand, Junior Boys, Cat Power, Wolfmother, the Walkmen, and Death Cab’s Chris Walla are just some of the many bands that will be featured on the compilation album that is slated to release mid-November and only 10,000 copies will be available.
