Just going to be making a few changes today to make the site faster and generally better. Don’t worry if you see something broken today, chances are I’m just working on it.

I made some changes to the structural markup so that the sidebar is more flexible and will expand with added markup. I also reduced the amount of absolute positioning applied to individual elements to allow for fasting loading speeds.
Some good changes made there, Garr. But if you wanted faster loading speeds I’d advise changing your images from jpeg files
Well that’s a fair point Dave, yet when I ran an investigation into this I found that jpgs were the smallest in file size for the quality I needed.
The ultimate in load times would be achieved by just removing everything and placing a blank index.html, brahahah!

But nevermind, I’m sure that I’m obvously missing some greater meaning here.
