The Foo Fighters will allow early download of a new single

The Foo Fighters will be releasing the first track of their upcoming album, Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace, over a month before the release of the actual album. Listeners will be able to purchase the download-only single on August 13th, with the release date of the actual album set for September 25th.

Jonny Greenwood hand picks Reggae Album

Radiohead’s very own Jonny Greenwood (guitarist) will be releasing a compilation album this Spring of reggae songs. The music label Trojan approached Greenwood and asked him to put together some of his favorite reggae songs from their label for part of Trojan’s 40th Anniversary 2007 releases.

I’ve seen some talk around the interweb about a new Bright Eyes album on April 9th, 2007. The name I’ve heard will be “Cassadaga”, and according to Conor Oberst (Vocals), it will be “Sort of folky and trippy and hopefully a little more cosmic.”
