Jonny Greenwood hand picks Reggae Album
Radiohead’s very own Jonny Greenwood (guitarist) will be releasing a compilation album this Spring of reggae songs. The music label Trojan approached Greenwood and asked him to put together some of his favorite reggae songs from their label for part of Trojan’s 40th Anniversary 2007 releases.

bright eyes back again
I’ve seen some talk around the interweb about a new Bright Eyes album on April 9th, 2007. The name I’ve heard will be “Cassadaga”, and according to Conor Oberst (Vocals), it will be “Sort of folky and trippy and hopefully a little more cosmic.”
New Deerhoof in New Year
Hailing from San Francisco, Deerhoof is an experimental indie band with some damn catchy tunes. After multiple enthralling lps and eps, Deerhoof is dropping a new album named “Friend Opportunity,” scheduled to be released January 23rd, 2007. If you’ve never heard this band, check them out, it’s something worthwhile.
Third RJD2 album entitled The Third Hand
As some of you might already know, RJD2 is coming out with his third album. If you’re not familiar with RJD2, he’s a DJ that does some pretty awesome music. I would listen to “Smoke & Mirrors” and “Ghostwriter” off of his album Dead Ringer.

Eagle Of Death metal Uk tour dates
The Eagles Of Death Metal are coming over to the UK.
The band will be playing in Bristol (Jan. 23), and Oxford (Jan. 25), followed by 9 other shows in March. .

Sky Larkin to release single
Sky Larkin will be releasing their first single in on January 22nd 2007, and it will be released on the Forward Russia label. The One Of Two 7″ will be releasing only 500 copies, but a download version will be released as well. On the B-side, there will be the song Young Lungs.

Thomas Tantrum To Release Single
Thomas Tantrum will be releasing their debut single on December 4th. The single will be on a 7″ / CD.
After past shows with the aforementioned Bromheads Jacket, Thomas Tantrum will now follow the release by playing a BBC Session for Marc Riley on December 6th.

Keane covered on Lily Allen’s next single
Lily Allen will be covering the band Keane on the b-side her next single. The song will be Everybody’s Changing, and it will be on the 7″ for the Littlest Things single, which will be in stores on December 11th. The CD will also include a new tracked entitled “U Killed It”.
